These platforms are easy to build and they protect your gym floor from unwanted damage. This design allows for safe band use outside of a power rack without having to bolt the platform to the floor our standard oly platform by comparison requires bolting to the ground for band work. Once you have the rack nice and lined up drill a pilot hole for the lag screws as seen above.
