Ps4 Controller Light Bar Not Working

I loaded battlefield 4 to see if the drifting was fixed which it was and proceeded to check if every button on the pad was working and everything seems fine except for the light bar which is off. Sometimes it s not the ps4 controller or the charging cable but the charging port is faulty. Connect the ds4 controller to the ps4 using a usb cable and press the ps button.

Powered off the ps4 is powered completely off. When i assembled everything up i turned on the controller and powered on the ps4 but the light bar on the controller stayed off. Once you have reset the controller turn your ps4 off completely. The controller used to stay on but now it won t even stay on when it s plugged in.

If the light bar is not blue or the ps button is not responsive. When powered off the system cannot charge controllers via usb download content or install content. Well in this situation replacing the ps4 controller seems the only way. If the light bar turns blue the ds4 has paired.

If you push the power button and the system does not turn on please double check your power connection. After following both steps you will now see both controllers working. Light bar on ps4 controller not working. Wait for 2 3 minutes.

The controller seems to be working fine except for the light bar. The light controller on the ps4 controller isn t turning on. Try a different usb port on the ps4 you may need to fully charge your controller. Now on the controller which isn t working press the share button for 5 seconds or so.

If that doesn t work try a different dualshock 4. Due to excessive usage the charging port may be damaged and the power isn t passing through the battery. Also press the ps button at the same time until you see the light bar flash twice every second or so. So a buddy of mine has a ps4 and the light bar went off and doesn t turn back on.

If none of the above work try resetting your dualshock 4 controller. If the controller is unresponsive or is able to connect to a different usb port or another system please visit the fix replace diagnostic tool to check if your hardware is eligible for an under warranty repair. If that doesn t work try a different usb cable. If this issue persists your ps4 may need to be serviced.

Ps4 light bar broke went out and now the controller won t hold a charge or even work when plugged in.
